The L 111-114 was a small series of postal wagons built by Werkspoor for the Dutch State Railways (SS). They were built between 1909 and 1913, mostly for use on international mailtrains.
As with most of my models, this one is built in 1:45 scale. All the lining is brick-built using different brackets, no stickers are used in the models.
The only custom parts are the MR52ZZ wheel bearings to make it roll better. These can either be pressed into the 1×2 technic bricks yourself, or you can buy pre-made wheel sets with bearings already installed.
There are also some sections of rigid hose that need to be cut to non-standard lengths.
The model is fairly sturdy, but has a few fragile areas, and some parts are only held in place by friction and/or gravity. It’s not supper complex to build, but there are definitely a few tricky bits here and there, so I wouldn’t recommend this model for novice builders.
I’ve used magenta in the Studio file & building instructions for all of the internal parts that won’t be visible in the final model, so any magenta parts can be replaced with the cheapest available color, or whatever you already have laying about.
