Vectron (7w)

My version of a Siemens Vectron locomotive, in 7 studs wide.

The train is designed to use two powered up hubs and train motors for power, making it quite powerful for its size. The model was specifically designed to work on R40 track, but does require some patience when routing the cables to make it run smoothly through the tight curves.

No custom parts are used for this model, but you wil need to cut some sections of rigid hose to length.

The model shared here on Open L-Gauge is in a fictional white/blue livery. Originally it was designed in all black, with decals to represent locomotive 193 701-0 from SBB Cargo International.

Due to some of the newer pieces used, options for re-colouring the model are somewhat limited at the moment, but hopefully this wil improve in the future.
