NS omC 901-908

By Malik Geldermans

The NS omC 901-908 was a series of diesel powered railcars built in 1927. These operated on branchlines throughout the Netherlands, but mostly on the lines around Goes, Zeeland.

After repurposing to catenary service/repair units in the late 30s they were demolished throughout the 60s. None remained.

In 2010 heritage railway Stoomtrein Goes-Borsele started work on building two replica’s. These were finished in 2018 and 2022.

This model is built in 1:45th scale and is capable of running on standard R40 tracks. It is able to me motorised using a circuit cube and cubit motor cube.

This model uses certain building techniques and styles which might require some more fiddeling and patience. Therefore this model isn’t very suitable for inexperienced or younger builders!

Have fun building!
