Gas Tank Wagon Zgk
These gas tank wagons were acquired for transporting various gases as early as Era II. There were different versions, depending on the type of gas. The color varied according to the gas type. The most common was illuminating gas, marked with yellow stripes; gas was needed everywhere for signal lighting. Hydrogen had red stripes. This manual includes the version for oxygen transport with blue marking stripes.
Only a few special parts were used. The flexible hose was cut to a length of 2 studs. The short bar for the brake levers is 1 stud long; a piece of rigid hose can be used as an alternative.
BrickTracks axles were used to ensure good running characteristics. However, standard Lego axles can also be used.
The blue stripe is a simple 4 mm wide blue vinyl sticker. It is simply applied to the side along its entire length.
The decals forthe Number and adress boards are printed in their original size in the instruction; simply print them onto stickers.
